Canadian Undergraduate Mathematics Conference : ウィキペディア英語版 | Canadian Undergraduate Mathematics Conference
The Canadian Undergraduate Mathematics Conference (CUMC) is an annual gathering of undergraduate mathematics students at a Canadian university. The host institution for a given year is determined by an election process during the previous year's gathering. CUMCs are usually held during the summer, for a period of approximately four days. CUMCs are intended to be bilingual (English and French). The inaugural session was held at the McGill University campus in Montreal in 1994. CUMC meetings typically draw between 100 and 150 participants. Student participants are encouraged to give talks (25 or 50 minutes) on their mathematical research or interests. Student abstracts are usually published online and in a conference kit distributed to participants. ==History== Past CUMCs have been held at the following locations: * 2015: University of Alberta ((2015 site )) * 2014: Carleton University ((2014 site )) * 2013: Université de Montréal ((2013 site )) * 2012: University of British Columbia ((2012 site )) * 2011: Laval University ((2011 site )) * 2010: University of Waterloo ((2010 site )) * 2009: Carleton University ((2009 site )) * 2008: University of Toronto ((2008 site )) * 2007: Simon Fraser University ((2007 site )) * 2006: McGill University ((2006 site )) * 2005: Queen's University ((2005 site )) * 2004: Dalhousie University ((2004 site )) * 2003: York University ((2003 site )) * 2002: University of Calgary ((2002 site )) * 2001: Université Laval ((2001 site )) * 2000: McMaster University ((2000 site )) * 1999: Memorial University of Newfoundland * 1998: University of British Columbia * 1997: Université de Montréal * 1996: University of Waterloo * 1995: University of Manitoba * 1994: McGill University
